Our Sustainability Goals
Our sustainability goals set a clear, measurable path through 2035 and reflect the interests of our key stakeholder groups. We aim to reduce our Scopes 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 63% by 2035, with targets to be validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.1 We are also transitioning more than 50% of our global battery packaging to plastic‑free formats, accelerating circularity and reducing environmental impact at scale.2 Together, these goals demonstrate our long‑term commitment to data‑driven action and meaningful progress. Plastic-free packaging is defined as packaging in which plastic represents less than 5% of the total packaging weight, based on weight-based calculations of applicable packaging materials.
